At ResumeEra.xyz, you don't need to create an account. But to give you a great free experience, we parse your resume and securely save it with a unique Resume ID so you can edit and download anytime.

🔑 How it works without login?
When you create a resume, we generate a unique Resume ID (e.g., resumeera.xyz/r/abc123). Your data is saved against that ID, not against an email/password. No login needed.

🔓 1. No Login / No Logout System

ResumeEra.xyz does not have a traditional login/logout system. You don't need to create an account, remember a password, or provide an email to build a resume. This makes it faster and more private.

Instead of an account, we identify your resume with a unique Resume ID / URL. Anyone with that link can edit it, so keep your resume link private.

💾 2. What Data Do We Save After Parsing?

When you fill your details, we parse and save them to generate PDF and allow future edits:

⚙️ 3. How We Parse & Save Your Resume

  • Parsing: When you enter data, our system parses it into structured fields (e.g., separates company name, job title, dates) to fit into professional templates.
  • Saving: Parsed data is saved on our secure server (MySQL/Server) linked to a random Unique ID, not to a user account.
  • Why Save? So you can come back later via the same link, edit, and re-download without re-typing everything.
  • Security: Data is stored with encryption at rest and transmitted via SSL (HTTPS).
Important: Since there is no login, your resume is only as secure as your unique link. Do not share your resume edit link publicly if you have private information in it.

🍪 4. Cookies, LocalStorage & Google Ads

To keep service free and functional without login:

  • LocalStorage / Cookies: We save your Resume ID in your browser's localStorage so we can show your recent resumes.
  • Google AdSense: To keep site free, we show ads. Google may use cookies for personalized ads. Opt-out: Google Ad Settings
  • Google Analytics: To understand which templates are popular.

🤝 5. Do We Share Your Resume Data?

NO. We never sell or share your parsed resume data with third parties for marketing. We only share:

  • With hosting provider to store data securely.
  • With Google for ads/analytics (anonymous data only).
  • If required by law under IT Act, 2000.

🗑️ 6. Data Retention & Your Right to Delete

Retention: We retain your parsed resume data for 365 days from last edit, or until you request deletion.

Your Rights (GDPR & DPDP Act 2023):

  • Access: Open your resume link to see what data is saved.
  • Delete Anytime: Every resume has a "Delete Resume" button. Or email us your Resume ID/Link at privacy@resumeera.xyz and we will permanently delete it within 72 hours.
  • Correction: You can edit your resume anytime via the same link - no login needed.
